Mounted on a portable and flexible tripod Kolb's ClayHeater Spectratek is using infrared-heating-elements.
A digital temperature control makes sure that the desired temperature on the clay surface will be achieved without overheating the material.
Due to infrared technology the clay will be heated as deep as 20 mm without heating up your studio.

Loading clay becomes faster with Kolb's ClayHeater:

  • Five minutes before you begin working on a model, simply place the ClayHeater in front of where you want to start loading the clay.
  • When you start loading clay simply move it on to the next area.
  • Due to digital temperature control no overheating will occur and no damage of the model is possible - no matter how long the ClayHeater is placed in front of the model.
  • The clay surface will always have the right temperature, you will not have to stop loading to use a heat-gun, but can go on working on perfectly prepared clay.
